SEGRO keeps expanding and celebrates 10 years in the Czech Republic
SEGRO, leading owner, manager and developer of modern warehousing and light industrial property, celebrates its 10th anniversary on the Czech market announcing new pre-let leasing agreements in SEGRO Logistics Park Prague.
Two new buildings will soon arise in SEGRO Logistics Park Prague due to the new contracts signed recently. The first one, over 3,500 sq. m large, will be a pre-let for Pivovary Lobkowicz Group, a.s. The company plans to relocate their offices and current warehouse to SEGRO Logistic Park Prague in 2017. The second building, which SEGRO already has begun to develop, is about 3,500 sq. m large; 1,300 sq. m of that will be leased to an international company GO! Express & Logistics specializing in messenger, express post and logistics services.
SEGRO also recently renewed the agreement with the Schachermayer company, regarding the area of over 5,700 sq. meters in SEGRO Logistic Park Prague. The showroom, warehouse and the Czech HQ of this Austria-based company is located inside the park. The company is a wholesaler to the trade, industry and commerce which offers i.e. furniture and building hardware, lighting, built-in appliances, sinks and batteries.
In the Czech Republic, SEGRO owns one park: SEGRO Logistics Park Prague, established in 2006 in Hostivice and dynamically expanding ever since. Eventually there will be 250,000 sq. meters of leasable area on the 80 ha plot. Up to now, there is 126,000 sq. meters of the modern warehouse space developed and the majority is leased to 16 clients. There are 10 fully developed buildings and two more under construction.
